I tried to give it a shot and use it for a bit, but my opinion hasn't changed, and now I know the new iTunes program simply *****, and there's no way for apple to make it better other than reverting to the previous version of iTunes. Most noteworthy is getting rid of the display duplicates option, the bottom bar that shows how the file size and length of the selected songs (along with not having the last song just end right at the bottom), not having the year the album was released in the iTunes store, when you click on the artist of the song instead of going to the store it displays the artist's songs in your library, there are a decent amount of bugs in the new version, and just a general goofy look and menu system that just makes everything more difficult without making anything better. You got rid of so many useful things, and didn't add anything useful.
I absolutely hate the new iTunes, it is the worst update I have ever seen.
